Christmas 2010

We had an incredible Christmas with our families!  Here's some photos to tell a little bit of the story...

Jackson's Baptism

Jackson was baptized at Signal Mtn. Presbyterian Church on December 12.  Dr. Dudley, my pastor of 17 years and who married Ryan and me, did the baptism.  Our dear friend, David Burke, also participated in the baptism.  We were blessed to be surrounded by our whole families (4 generations!), as well as our home church family.  Many of my former students were there as well, which was very cool.  It was a special and holy moment for us to claim God's promises for Jackson, as well as pledge to be the kind of parents God wants us to be for him.  David Burke shared with the congregation the verse we have claimed for Jackson that we pray over him often:


"I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God."
                               ~ Ephesians 3:16-19

Jackson's shoes had fallen off at this point and Santa made it into all the pictures.

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas!






At 5 months old, Jackson no longer just plays with his playmat.  He conquers it.
