Getting Ready for Christmas 2012

Loving on my boy at the town's Christmas tree lighting, where Daddy was on stage as a "silly guy."

This isn't the best picture, but Jackson has started putting all his lovies in the glider with him and having us read to them them.  It's pretty cute.

Playing at the park.

Visiting Mimi & Grandad's - looking at the Thomas alphabet flash cards.  Jackson knows every single letter!

Playing on the bed.

Getting ready for Christmas!  Jackson helped put the ornaments on the tree.

Helping hammer the nails in for the stockings.

All ready for Christmas!

Ready to ride the train at the mall.

This is when my car ran out of gas on I-75 and Jackson and I hung out together on the side of the interstate.  Jackson got to meet a real police officer and a tow truck driver - very exciting!

This is Jackson getting to ride in a tow truck.

 Hanging with Mimi & Grandad

Getting to see diggers working.

Fall and Thanksgiving 2012

I'm way behind on updating the blog, but here are the highlights from the fall and Thanksgiving This year, we spent Thanksgiving in Knoxville (Jackson age 2):

A list found outside Jackson's classroom.  Love it!

 Our hair is identical!

Some of the many treasures found at Pops house over Thanksgiving.

Playing trains at Aunt Tronda's house.  While everyone ate Thanksgiving dinner together, Jackson went upstairs and played trains for at least 3 hours straight.  He was in 2 year old boy heaven!

Throwing the football with cousin Connor.

Painting ornaments for the family with Hatta...great idea, Hatta!

Taking his animals on a fire engine ride.

I love this one!  Trying not to have double chins!

His old teacher, Ms. Julie, came to the house to give him a haircut.

Posing with his new haircut.
