The other day we went to Academy Sports so Jackson, of course, brought his plastic putter to play on the putting green. (He insists on holding his ball and putter in the car).
He then wandered into the section where adults can hit golf balls into the net. Ryan found a small driver (it was probably made for a 5 or 6 year old), and handed it to Jackson. He proceeded to tee up the ball and hit the ball into the net. I'm not talking about little taps. He was lifting the driver up behind him (like he sees his daddy do) and totally connecting with the ball! Over and over. It even had a little loft as it hit the net. Do I need to remind you he is not quite 2 yet?? The man working in the golf section said, "This is the most amazing thing I have ever seen." Another woman who was watching went to find her husband and said, "You've gotta see this," and brought him over to watch. It was hysterical to have an audience for out little guy. Of course when he noticed the audience he got shy and quit trying. But it was amazing while it lasted. What kind of athlete is this little boy going to become???
I didn't have the camera the day he hit with the driver. These pics are from another day, but you get the idea.
